My favorite sandwich shop in San Diego is Gourmet Bagger in Point Loma. And my favorite sandwich is the Turkey Day Any Day! Breast of turkey, mayo, herb stuffing, lettuce and cranberries on 8" french roll. Except I always order it sans mayo on toasted wheat!
They also make the most amazing chocolate chip cookies in the world! It's a secret recipe, but I'm gonna figure it out one of these days! And you always get a little candy too!
